Version 1.7.0
Public BerryPath release notes for version 1.7.0.
Version 1.7.0
New
-
Product datasets can now use a manual file upload as their source: upload a CSV, JSON or XML file and we read and import it directly, instead of an external feed URL.
-
When creating or editing a dataset you can switch between External feed and Manual upload right in the source step.
-
Uploaded files are validated first, the same way as feed URLs: we detect the format and confirm products were found before the import runs.
-
A new upload replaces the previous file, and an uploaded source file can be removed again to reset the dataset source.
Improved
-
Matching now supports sort rules on answer rules and as a global fallback, so products with the same match score can be ordered by rating, title, sales data or other feed fields.
-
The matching test now shows when a sort rule was used, including the question/answer context, sort field, direction and value.
-
Sort values now prefer mapped product fields and then the original feed value, so future attributes sort more completely and reliably.
-
Product prices in the matching test now also use locale feed values when available.
-
Reports and flow analytics now support a custom date range of up to 30 days with one range calendar.
-
Long values in the Matching value picker now wrap inside the dropdown and highlight the text you searched for.
-
The total score in the Matching test now uses a calmer, more compact badge.
