Product changelog
Short public release notes for teams following what changes in BerryPath.
Version 1.8.0
New
-
Publishing is now explicit: changes in the builder, matching and styling are saved as a draft and only go live when you publish — editing no longer updates the live advice flow automatically.
-
A new publish bar across the builder, matching and styling shows exactly which sections have unpublished changes, with one publish button.
-
You can revert a single section (builder, matching or styling) back to the published version, or revert the whole flow to a previous version (the last 5 published versions are kept). Reverting asks for confirmation.
Improved
-
Making a change and then undoing it no longer counts as an unpublished change — if it matches the published version again, the flow is shown as up to date.
Fixed
-
Detected pages in flow analytics can be removed manually again.
Version 1.7.0
New
-
Product datasets can now use a manual file upload as their source: upload a CSV, JSON or XML file and we read and import it directly, instead of an external feed URL.
-
When creating or editing a dataset you can switch between External feed and Manual upload right in the source step.
-
Uploaded files are validated first, the same way as feed URLs: we detect the format and confirm products were found before the import runs.
-
A new upload replaces the previous file, and an uploaded source file can be removed again to reset the dataset source.
Improved
-
Matching now supports sort rules on answer rules and as a global fallback, so products with the same match score can be ordered by rating, title, sales data or other feed fields.
-
The matching test now shows when a sort rule was used, including the question/answer context, sort field, direction and value.
-
Sort values now prefer mapped product fields and then the original feed value, so future attributes sort more completely and reliably.
-
Product prices in the matching test now also use locale feed values when available.
-
Reports and flow analytics now support a custom date range of up to 30 days with one range calendar.
-
Long values in the Matching value picker now wrap inside the dropdown and highlight the text you searched for.
-
The total score in the Matching test now uses a calmer, more compact badge.
Version 1.6.1
Improved
-
Reports and flow analytics now group the main metrics into clearer activity, product interest and revenue impact cards, so the overview is easier to scan.
-
Reports now show assisted conversions and assisted revenue on advice flow rankings when conversion data is available.
-
Report completion now follows the average of active advice flows where completion means visible product recommendations.
-
The success pixel setup notice now disappears once assisted conversion data is coming in anywhere in the account.
Version 1.6.0
New
-
Product data now has a Properties & Swatches view, so teams can inspect all values for a property and add color or image swatches from Media.
-
Dataset answer options can now show those swatches in the Flow widget for single and multi-select questions.
-
Manual answers can now get their own color or image swatch from the Builder.
-
Answer swatches now have their own corner radius control in Styling.
-
The documentation now includes plug-and-play Magento, Shopware and WooCommerce integration guidance.
Improved
-
The Styling preview step picker now follows the same start-path order as Matching and marks disconnected questions as Not connected: Question title.
-
Preview image placement now matches the live Flow widget on first load, including right-side question banners and mobile stacking.
-
The success pixel documentation now sits with the Flow widget embedding guidance and makes clear that the main berrypath.js file must be included.
-
Higher Order Value now shows the uplift from the matched advised product compared with the rest of the assisted order value, so later non-assisted shop orders no longer move the percentage.
Fixed
-
Dataset attribute preview panels in Matching no longer trigger an Alpine dirty error.
-
Recommendation titles and dropdown labels with escaped unicode, such as één, now display normally.
Version 1.5.2
Improved
-
Flow widget assets are cached more effectively after the first visit, making repeated opens feel lighter.
