An Advice flow asks visitors questions and shows suitable products. The Flow widget is the version you place on your webshop. Start with one product category and three to five questions.

Use How it works on an app page for a short explanation. Open the full tour from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, under Watch the product tour.
Have these ready
- An account with a confirmed email address.
- A product feed or CSV, XML or JSON file from your webshop.
- Access to the webshop page where you want to place the widget, or a colleague who can do this.
No product data yet? You can start building questions. Product recommendations will need a connected dataset: a collection of products from your feed.
Need a hand getting started? Open Support. Before you have an Advice flow, the assistant offers help with the demo, importing products and creating your first flow.
1. Add products
Open Product data, create a dataset and check your feed or file. Import the products and connect their fields under Mapping. Then check a few products: are the title, image, price and product link correct?

2. Build the question path
Create an Advice flow under Advice flows. Choose its source language and dataset. In Builder, add questions, answers and a result step. Connect each answer to a next step.
For jackets, you could ask where the jacket will be used, whether it must be waterproof and what the budget is.
3. Connect answers to products
Open Matching. Limit the product selection to jackets and connect each answer to the relevant product property. Test two different answer paths: do the recommendations change as expected?
4. Apply your style
Open Styling, choose your colors and check questions and product cards in the Live preview. Start with the basics; refine the details once your first version works.
5. Publish and place the widget
Walk through Preview. Publish through Share & Publish, allow your webshop domain and place the Flow widget using your webshop plugin or the copied code.

Ready for visitors
On your actual webshop page, check that every path reaches advice, product links work and the widget is comfortable to use on mobile. Use the test link without analytics for internal checks.
